She was born in Jacksonville, grew up in Clay County's Doctors Inlet/Fleming Island area on Swimming Pen Creek and Doctors Lake, and went to Middleburg High School. Her mother was raised in Palatka and was a graduate of Mellon High School. Edith is an experienced and dependable State Farm Agent and has been working in the insurance industry with State Farm since 1988. She started in Jacksonville, was transferred to Bloomington, IL, and then came back home to Florida and Putnam County in 2001 to open her agency. She truly enjoys working and living in her community while helping individuals, families, and business owners get the coverage they want, need and deserve. Edith is happily married to her husband and high school sweetheart. Together, they have two grown children who both grew up in Putnam County, graduated from Palatka High School and are currently residing in Jacksonville. When she is not at the agency, Edith loves spending time with her family as much as possible. On the weekends, you are likely to find Edith on the St Johns River, visiting with her Federal Point neighbors, working in her yard, tending to her flower gardens, grabbing lunch or coffee with friends, spending time with her grand-pups, watching football, riding her bike, or snuggling her cats who think they are dogs. Living life to the fullest is Edith’s top priority and she is on a mission to assist others to do the same.
